Lakeside Country Cloggers
Mary Jo has enjoyed clogging since the eighties when she first saw this type of dance during a stay in eastern Kentucky. Soon afterwards she attended clogging classes in Rochester NY and once her youngest daughter could toddle, Mary Jo joined LCC performing group in 1994.
As serendipity would have it, wonderful years of performing suddenly led to becoming the group’s director in 2009. Because LCC is only as good as its individual members, Mary Jo appreciates and relies on the myriad talents of the group and the mission of “clogging for the love of it.”
Mary Jo is a full time midwife and practices in a large OB/GYN group in the Rochester area. She has three college-aged daughters and enjoys keeping up with her extended family – 12 siblings and many nieces/nephews!

can be solved by dancing.

Lakeside Country Cloggers is a performance team based in the Rochester, New York area. They have been together since March 1989, and entertain at many nursing homes, festivals and special events. These dancers keep up to date by attending local conventions and constantly update their program to add new routines and ideas. Lakeside Country Cloggers would love to perform at your special occasion.
Frequent venues include: the NYS Fair, Livonia Autumn Days, The Windmill in Penn Yan, Brockport Arts Festival and the Appleumpkin Festival, just to name a few.
Lakeside Country Cloggers are always eager to meet new cloggers. Guests are welcome at any/all classes, so if you are curious or looking to join a team give them a call.
